I didn’t mean to, but got caught up in your stuff, and wound up here for, what?, an hour or more? Pretty cool. Sorry, not extremely articulate. I’ll keep checking back for more. If you have time and energy, could you please let me know what book or film or whatever nudged you to latch onto a Wendigo character for your one comic?
Hi Greg! Aww, thanks for your interest! The comic was done on 24 hour comic day, when you’re supposed to plan/write/draw everything in only a day, so I wasn’t planning any farther than one panel at a time; the Wendigo probably came from having recently re-read Pet Semetary, where there’s a Wendingo skulking around the forest behind the main character’s house.
Is there any chance you will ever be selling prints of your work? Your His Dark Materials illustrations are breathtaking, and your original work is positively stunning.
