back in the ‘burgh

After a good solid week of family-only time, I’ve arrived at the final destination of my summer journey: Pittsburgh, right back where I started. It’s good to be back on familiar streets, but I think I could do without the heat; I’m finding myself taking up to 3 cold showers a day just so I’m not perpetually exhausted and sweaty. Air conditioned indoors are always only a brief respite, as I walk everywhere and walking means being outside in the muggy, drippy, oozing, gooey heat.

yuck.

I’m here early to begin working for the STUDIO for Creative Inquiry here at Carnegie Mellon. Until that ball really gets rolling, I’m just settling in and trying to prep for the oncoming school year.

Not much new art to show off right now, thanks to all the movin’ about, but until next time, dear readers…
